CONCEPT
The Periscope washbasin reinvents the common design logics of this product, proposing a concept that synthesizes the bathroom corner intended for personal care with a minimalist and space-saving solution, and which at the same time offers an original and particularly appreciable design. Washbasin, support, mirror and spotlight are in fact perfectly integrated into a single composition that lives in great harmony, and which gives the project an innovative and essential character.
In short, the Periscope washbasin is a solid and compact project, which integrates ecology and technology, offers all the functionality required for daily use and guarantees maximum resistance thanks to the special water-resistant polyurethane glue used to glue it. But above all, it is an opportunity to rethink the washbasin area with different eyes: in addition to being a solution for the main bathroom, Periscope can also be used for new uses, such as the guest bathroom or innovative commercial destinations.
STRUCTURE
The washbasin, made of cedar from Lebanon, with a pleasant scent and treated with water-based paints, was initially designed in the shape of a bowl, and then took on that of a submarine during construction. From this idea, the inspiration for the complete project was then born, to which a solid stainless steel console was added that enhances the aesthetics of the washbasin, a mixer (optional), a mirror with an unusual tall and narrow width 18 cm, and a petal spotlight perpendicular to the drain.
